Question about SSL.
When a client opens a SSL connection to a https server, are both sides
sending encrypted data, or is only the client sending encrypted data to
the server?
When a SSL connection is established, the server sends it’s public key
to the client, allowing the client to encrypt all data to the server.
How does the server encrypt data to the client? What key is used, and
how is that key established?

Currently I am using Netscape Communicators "Composer" to design web
pages, however I often find that pages can look dramatically different,
depending on the browser you view it through. The program is also somewhat
limited in it’s features and I would like some feedback as to "What is the
best web design software you have used?"
