Hiyas, I’m trying to decide between two hosts & as far as I’m concerned
the deciding factor is speed. Problem is I’m looking for some tool that’ll
help me measure the speed of each from a fairly representative section of
the net rather than just the occasional ping from where I am – anyone have
any ideas if this is possible?
The hosts are Icom and Iperweb btw.

I need to consult with a webmaster who has experience in working with server
side includes. I have been using them and my systems admin doesn’t know
what they are and it is making it impossible for me to use them. If anyone
has experience with using SSI and on a Apache server I need to contact you.

You don’t need 300 dpi for the screen – won’t make a difference if you know
how to scan and tweak graphics. Basically, you’re just increasing the size.
The computer screen shows at 72 dpi, and 300 dpi would be for printing.
(This is why many times you don’t get great printout from web images).
Drop the images down, nothing is worth that much download time.

I heard msacess97 can be converted to dynamic htm links so people can
type in info to the database file. Can I do this with the access97 by
itself or do I need something like cold fusion??
