I am wondering how WebHosting companies can afford to host FREE sites on
their servers! Anyone know how they get their income??
Thanks

Advertising… advertising… advertising.
All of the free hosts have popup windows with sponsor’s messages in
them. Geocities just added the little "corner bug" too, making for two
major ways to present their sponsors to the world.

not a paid server. ( it is a sub-domain)
but it’s good, and it is free

Yes, I’m curious too. And then back to the original thread…Do they make
any claims on how they pay for their free hosting service? (Curious about
that too.)
