Add "Buffering…" message in WMP plugin

July 29th, 2010

Hello, I just created a page with a list of audio files and a Windows
Media Player plugin:
http://www.mhariolincoln.jor.br/audio/playlist.php?id=31
Some people complain because when they click the "Play" button, they
don’t know what is going on, and they said that a "Buffering…" bar
would do the trick.
Do you know how I can add this underneath bar in the Windows Media
Player plugin?
I guess it’s a snippet that I have to add to the source code…
Thanks,

RackForce any good?

Rackforce.com seems to have some decent dedicated server/virtual server
offerings… does anyone here have any experience with them?

When are you a spammer?

July 29th, 2010

We send out about 3000 Emails a month to the same subcriber list we have, but
wondered if our hosting company would consider that spam?

If we buy a list and send out some Emails to say hello and look for new
subscribers, are we spamming?

Thanks!

How many 9s?

Pulled the plug on about 20 internet facing production servers yesterday
(details are irrelevant) for about 30-40 minutes.

Can count on one hand the number of clients that noticed – and only one of
those called during the outage.  The others were casual enquiries after
the event.

redirection?

July 29th, 2010

The way my website is currently set up, when I receive a vistor from google
or through an off site link, the visitor arrives on:
http://www.mcqueenonline.com/

Is there any way that I can set my site up so that these off site link
forwarded visits are automatically directed/redirected to:
http://www.mcqueenonline.com/index.htm    ?

Thanks,

Darren.

=[ How should I set up my CSS Files? ]=

July 29th, 2010

Right now I am in the process of cleaning up my CSS file so then I can
split it up into several files like: "Global", "Layout", "Typography",
and "Lightbox" (the last one being for the AJAX Lightbox JS.)

My question is this:  How should I set up the files for those who will
view them?
Like, splitting up the various sections with a comment, and putting a
heading at the top of each.
What I mean is, how should I display this information?

(BTW, I’m using ScITE for my editing :-D )
